Colour, texture and luscious layering is a re-occurring theme for me, i think it’s a great way to add dimension to your daily outfits.
I love dreaming up new combinations to create with what I already have in my wardrobe… a clever little secret to make it look like you have a closet full of clothes!
It’s a nifty trick I learnt whilst living in NYC. New Yorkers love a print clash and a dable in texture. Tartan with stripes, florals with spots, leather with lace. The RL (Ralph Lauren) stores downtown are like crack for a fashion kid like me – crazy beautiful blends of all the colour and textures of the style rainbow.
So sift through your wardrobe and see what pots of sartorial gold you can whip up. Why not make it work with what you have!
